Absences/HOLIDAYS/ILLNESS
Although attendance at Nursery is not compulsory, we are working towards achieving our target of 95% and would urge you to bring your child to every session so that they can fully benefit from their time at Nursery.
If your child is going to be absent, we ask that parents inform via parentmail - absence notification in the first instance, or telephone the Office as soon as possible, so that we can authorise the absence and let the staff know. Please call 01706 214162 and leave a short message stating your child's name and reason for the absence.
Holidays
To avoid disruption of your child’s routine we ask that you please try to take your annual holiday outside term time. Fees remain payable even when the child is not in attendance to ensure continuity of your place in Nursery.

Illness
It is important to notify us if your child is ill. Please keep your child at home if they have an infectious illness such as chicken pox, impetigo or conjunctivitis. In the case of diarrhoea and sickness, children should not return to school until clear of symptoms for at least 48 hours.
If your child becomes unwell we will make every effort to contact you. Please inform us immediately of any changes to the contact details.

It is important for us to know of any allergies or medical conditions so that we can take the necessary precautions. Please ensure the appropriate section in the “Getting to Know You” form is completed.
